I just changed something on the structure in my Oxygen theme settings (Main Page – One Page) and the entire site is broke and content is lost. That is really, really bad as I was just finish work on my company portfolio site after days of work. Is there a chance to go back to an earlier version of the database?
A similar bug was mentioned and experienced 1 year ago by using Safari at this theme. After saving changes the theme was set to default. It was reported as solved after but seems to happen again.
I need urgent support on this as my side is down. I just purchased because of this a new support license!
Many thanks for the support on this!
thanks for getting back to me. I restored the database over my host. I deleted your theme for now and I’m deleting all plug-ins from the server right now.
I want to do a fresh installation as the problem showed up still after I restored the database and installed a fresh Oxygen Theme.
Can you wait 10 min and then I get back to you with the theme and plugins installed again.
I’m just saving all plugins from my server before I delete them, in case I need them again.
I reinstalled the theme and plugins. Before that I deleted all old stuff from the server. I also restored the database to a backup from last Friday before things where happen.
Still, the site is broken. My host support says the information is still at the database but wont get displayed correct due to the theme.
Can you please help me with that as I really tried everything from my end to get the site back up. It is my company site and really important for me.
The url I gave in private information is correct.
Hi Tomas, you are still there?
I need urgent help to solve this problem!
Can you please get back to me.
Here is the name of the page which is broken – pbp2015<span style=”color: #555555; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-weight: 600; line-height: 19.5px;”> </span><span style=”color: #555555; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-weight: 600; line-height: 19.5px;”>—</span><span style=”color: #555555; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-weight: 600; line-height: 19.5px;”> </span><span class=”post-state” style=”color: #555555; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-weight: 600; line-height: 19.5px; word-wrap: break-word;”>Front Page</span>
There is an older version of the page which I saved under pbp2015 Safety!!!
But this one is too old and doesn’t have all the latest needed information/content.
please find the requested information under Privat Information.
first of all let me thank you for looking into this and solving it almost. That you was able to restore the copy/information is really important for me and so – thanks a lot.
Unfortunately some parts of the side are still distracted or out of content but I will be able to solve this on my own.
Here are now some important questions:
1. Should I always use Chrome as browser by working on this theme?
2. How stable is it now? Will or can it happen again when I use Chrome instead of Safari?
3. What causes the problem as it was happen the second time?
4 Should I better switch the theme to avoid this happen again in the near future?
Many thanks again for your support on this! Much appriciated.
Great thanks for the advices.
One more note from my site, I think it was happen because I used the regular WP “Save Button” and not the one under the settings left side. When it was happen before a year ago I first used the regular<span style=”line-height: 1.5;”> WP “Save Button” and while it was saving I pressed the one under </span><span style=”line-height: 1.5;”>the settings left side. </span>
So it maybe has to to do with the save function of WP and the theme.
Just a note and maybe something to look into.
Anyway, thanks again for your support!
