I’m having two issues that I can’t seem to resolve. I’ve searched the forums and comments and the solutions don’t seem to work for me.
1) The thumbnails I set on each image don’t seem to actually stick. For example, on this page, you can see that the thumbnail on the right cuts the girl’s head off. But in the Media Library, I had edited this image’s thumbnail to frame just her head and shoulders. Is there a reason this is happening, and how can I fix it? Since this is an illustration portfolio, it’s important to showcase my illustrations well.
2) Is there a way to NOT have any thumbnails on a page? In some cases, I decide to post the full image in the post content, and I don’t want duplicates on my page (like here). They always show up as a second thumbnail version of the image on that page, whether I upload that image directly in the post, or add it in the Media Manager then insert it. I’d just like the metadata/tags to show up with no thumbnails. How do I do this? Thanks!
Also, I’m stumped on how to remove images that seem to be embedded into my post (they show up in the thumbnails), but aren’t actually posted in it. (See here; those photos for “Changing Adolescent Behavior” should not be there) When I go to “Add Media” and filter it by “Uploaded to this post,” all those images show up, but I don’t see any way to REMOVE or delete them from the post, unless I delete them permanently from the Media Library, which I don’t want to do because they are on other pages. I just don’t want them on this page. Am I missing something obvious? Here is a screenshot of where I’m seeing them…where in this area is the delete?
