Masonry Blog not showing Read more

Hi,

I have an issue with the Masonry blog layout, it’s not timing the word count and adding the “Read More” button.

Please can you suggest some things to try?

I have never needed to do this before in over 8 years of experience in WP!

Furthermore, the Read More button appears if I use the traditional blog page style. Please explain why your theme does not support this simple function correctly?
